They say anyone can write a blog. Well, I suppose I am here to test that theory because here I am, writing my first blog post! Never in my wildest dreams did I think my life would consist of crocheting and then sharing my life on the interwebs. Crazy!
I have some ideas for the future and plans to offer patterns here on my page but currently, I just need to get over the hurdle of creating this first blog post. This has truly been so difficult to wrap my head around and try to figure out some topic to write about as *the first one.* I was probably putting way too much pressure on myself and I didn’t even wake up today with the plan to attempt this. But here we are. Clearly, this post is not pushing any limits or reinventing the wheel (honestly, it’s not even that interesting—sorry folks) but I just need to get the first blog out into the ethers and then moving forward, perhaps it won’t feel so cumbersome to get started.
My family and I are currently living life on a military base in the heart of mainland Japan. We’re just now (end of April) finishing up our first Sakura Blossom season and it has just been STUNNING to say the least. Enjoy this gorgeous photo of some of the cherry blossoms on one of my morning walks!
